Sorry for the odd topic... but this is so strange I had to share...
Bought a Yamaha AS501 integrated amplifier a few weeks ago, really happy with it but it has started to make a clicking noise... like a relay, speaker circuits opening and closing type noise... Anyway, you can use standby but I always use the proper on/off switch on the front... Remote control does nothing when off on the front panel, won't turn it on etc., as one would expect.
However, if you point your Sky TV remote at it, and then press the TV button, it makes the clicking noise, then a distictly different clicking noise a few seconds later! No lights appear on the front, no hum from the speakers, nothing. I can reproduce it on demand.
Anybody else got an AS501 + Sky?

Answers on a postcard. Hypersensitive to IR interference?... Pre-programmed factory code or something?
