I have an oil leak on a Harrop supercharged VX. The filter sandwich plate is dry. The filter O ring is dry and the dipstick tube is dry. The oil seams to drip off the bottom of the charger and looks to originate somewhere between the charger and alternator there being a lot of oil on the back of the alternator. I don't know the history of the car but am pretty sure the supercharger has only done about 3000 miles, it makes no odd noises and works perfectly. The pulley end of the charger is dry. Has anybody got any ideas where the leak could be?Oem fit turbolike ears for the N/A. So no cutting, reversable extra airflow.

Harrop Supercharger Oil Leak.

Normally it just needs vacuume from inlet pipe pre throttle ( between filter and throttle body ) but with a supercharger on and especially the HArrop to much vacuum is created which then pulls all the oil in to inlet manifold also on light loads it allows fresh air in

Is my way of restricting the vacuum but keeping a way of getting fresh air in without restriction

It's a build up of pressure rather than a leak

Are you saying a repair is not required and that your modification would be the cure. Would you mind telling me where you sourced the parts to make the modification, thanks again for your help.

Not 100% but think lee opened his up on CS map without issues maybe someone could ask himWhich ECU software are you using ? Courtenay map requires the PCV to be blocked off, especially with a z22se cylinder head as the PCV hole is not in the correct place. A little easier with a saab head, but the SC changes the internal vacuum of the engine, so you need to figure out which style of PCV you want to use. The Harrop SC creates even more of a difference to the internal pressure.
