He (Clark IIRC) seemed to snap up a lot of the VX220 Motorsport Auction stuff as it appeared unfortunately for us. Bought my Exige seats of him for about £1100, UKL was bit of a dump when I visited and he's not overly chatty, but as mentioned he seems to do well out of it even though he gets a hammering on forums for being pricey and he certainly wasn't impossible to deal with. Rocky's alright. That comment would be highly controversial on Seloc as they hate him on there (whilst secretly ordering lots of hard to find parts from them) I would always recommend going to site to pick the thing you want rather than using post to ensure its what you are after. Ultimately these guys are breakers. They did used to put cars together to sell and I think this is where they have had most flack. Quite surprising that anyone would expect high quality cars to be sold from a breakers yard but hey ho! They have one of the biggest and most enduringly successful businesses in the Lotus world.

On the prices well a lot of stuff these days they will have the only one for sale so supply and demand. The price of salvage on Lotus and VX cars is utterly insanely high and has been for some time. If they have to pay 5 grand for a smashed up VX on copart its no surprise they will want £500 for the seats. They have big spending power. Again a lot of the Seloc brigade think they are a joke company but they drop 10/15/20k on certain lines of parts regularly. When I last went they had 10 grands worth of Evora seats from motorsport auctions. I think they bought all the VX dampers as well.

Its not an easy business I think its far harder than the side I am in to be honest. their site is huge and cant be cheap to keep going.
