Hi, just purchased one of believed to be only 4 VX220's in Australia today.  Build number 113 which has been in Australia since 2010.  Silver colour.  Seems to be in good condition although note issue with heater, doesn't appear to turn off and heat control appears to be seized.

 

Car appears standard apart from replacement wheels, 16in front and 17in rear, apparently front 17in Bridgestone's are impossible to obtain in Australia.  Upholstery has been changed from original red leather to blue suede, still growing to like.

 

I note there is quite a lot of good information on this forum so will spend some time checking through but any quick guide to how to turn heater off, not really needed in sunny Queensland.

 

We are Vauxhall enthusiasts having a 1927 R Type 20/60 Grafton Cabriolet Coupe, 1971 Viscount and now a 2001 VX220.

Welcome 👍 pull fuse 3 while you work out what's going on with the fan. Heat control always sticks. Wire runs to a box in the front you can manually adjust it there. Search function in here has all the answers .
