Yes just the bare engine on its own matey, no ancillaries or turbo but brand new

Ok my brother is having a peek in my engine, low compression, but a spare would be handy, assume it would need running in?

You would want to put a few miles on it to bed everything in before running any big power but its not a forged lump and as with any new production engine should not need any special treatment DG

I'll find out but would guess about £75 Ivor

 

No warranty, these were bought direct from Lotus brand new off the production line but obviously if you get it & there's something wrong you can return it

Although a 'like for like' replacement doesn't sound exciting, fitting a new engine is much less stressful than the rebuild route.  Although mine's a mere LET, it's nice to know it's only (now) covered 20K miles.

 

The only change I made was to remove the balance shafts and it feels soooo smooth.
