Hello all, I've just purchased a Vgate OBD scan tool off Amazon, hoping to read off any faults from the ABS, due to light coming on on the dash. Any advice on the best app for my Samsung tablet? Any advice on setup and usage would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

ABS is a seperate controller with it's own special pin on the OBD connector. Don't think this one will read that...

Buy yourself a (cheap chines) OpCom reader module and do a search here for the correct working software.

Down loading software from the official OPCom site into a Chinese Copy OPCom will disable the chinese opcom in my experience. 

 

Buy a chinese opcom which has software specifically for the version of Windows you intend using the device with.

Hi, Thanks for the info, I'll see what it looks like when I get it, but it looks like it comes with a CD (possibly the windows software?)

I'll update the post when it comes and see if it works, fingers crossed.
