10:1 is standard CR on the Z22SE, isn't it?

these are best suited for a low mileage engine due to the standard 86mm bore.

Ideal for a stage 3 SC (300bhp) when matched with some steel rods.

What happens when it's high mileage?

You then need oversized bores. So these wouldn't suit any car over 5-6k

High mileage means wear so the bores might be out of tolerances and the the correct "cross hatch" finish for the piston rings will be worn as well

First you check bore size for any wear and if still within limit you can flexhone the bore to restore a cross hatch finish

Yes. Which means you need wider pistons than the standard 86.0mm that these are.

To dispute the above, the Z22SE has pressed in cast iron liners which means much straighter bore than cylinders bored directly into the block. This means you're much less likely to see bore polishing and there's a good possibility you can directly drop the pistons in without needing to re-bore. My 90k engine had perfect honing when it came out of the engine.

Worth a borescope if you're not certain

After approx 50k my engine had no signs of bore wear and just had a light hone before I fitted new rings when I rebuilt the engine.

These things seem to be dependent on the individual engine.
