Inspired by Dave's Facebook post showing his georgeous new Tag, I thought it would be good to ask what watches others have. I have a Breitling B-1😀 I'll load a photo when I'm on my laptop - maybe get the VX in the shot too!

Crappy Casio 😀 But - is deadly accurate and can be seen in total darkness at the push of a button . Drop dead lovely Tag is reserved for when telling the time is not required .

Casio F-91 W. Must have had a good half dozen of these during my lifetime. Less than £20 a go. Does all what I need from a watch...it's the strap that usually fails. For nights out and special occasions there is the Rolex Explorer II...I don't know how they can produce such a good watch for £50 !?!

Omega Seamaster. Bought it 8 years ago, and still looks good now. Though often get tempted by a Speedmaster.

Watches are so last centuary.

Why wear a watch when you carry a smart phone with the time on it?

I used to say the same but it's more than a watch...it's jewelry. :)

Not strictly true. We've had various "what shed have you got", "what tools have you got" type threads. Watches? Meh. Just need a few like "how big is the stripe on your lotus" or "how much cash can you fit in the boot, with pics" threads. Then we're willy waving.

Where's CocoPops (and his mysterious disappearing 'Stripe or no stripe' thread) when you need him?

I collect watches and pens and have the usual suspects like Rolex and Omega but my Bulova Accutron Spaceview that I bought when I had my first serious job is my favourite. Just sold a Panerai which I never liked and stuck it in the back of my wardrobe and had a very pleasant surprise when I put it on e-bay.

Just recently I've started collecting pocket watches and have a very rare one-off Art Deco pocket watch with a matching chain.

I'll try to post some pictures of it because it really is a work of art.
