Always good to see new faces sorry I couldn't spend more time with you. We did manage a 30 minute run eventually between all the red flags and the overheating problem is under control now so are day was not wasted. Good to see Kieran out and about take it easy for a while bud

Good to meet everyone yesterday. The VX lot are a friendly bunch 

 

Car ran well yesterday (apart from when I put petrol in at the local Tesco which threw up an engine light). Knew I shouldn't have used Tesco momentum

 

Massively impressed with the Avon ZZR!!. I need a baffled tank now. Had fuel starvation twice which isn't good.

 

Glad you got some sort of result with yours Kg.

Tried looking for your car to have a nosey but couldn't see it!

I was up the top. Only place I could park because of all the race weekend stuff. Even then I got moved twice!! That sound guy was telling me my car was turbod and then I said no it's Na and he didn't know what that was... Ffs

Didn't really speak to the sound guy. Petrol guy moaned at me for reversing up to the pump though as I couldn't be arsed to turn the car around. To be fair, I was being lazy!

Was going to say that you could've taken over my garage as I had reserved it and packed up before 5pm

It was the same guy. I had 0 petrol so I said I can't do siting laps until I get petrol, the organiser said it was open all day and night. He goes I still have people to sound test even though there was no cars cueing lol. Spoke to his boss and he then opened the petrol station. It was a bit of shambles really. Was told briefing was at 3.30 and sound testing after that.!so was waiting there then went to go for a look at 4 and everyone was getting sound tested!! And briefing started at 4.40! Msv usually pretty good so must have been a off day..

Briefing was actually early in the morning, so got out on the sighting lap early too (although ended up losing half an hour due to the Aston incident). 

 

Think as the race teams turned up MSV became a little snowed under! Didn't help that there 80 cars there for the day, then the evening crowd arrived too.

How was the car Joe? Is it all sorted now? What were you sound test reading?
