I used to live in Wolverhampton and go to school in Telford...

It's a bit crap in general, there is a cinema, ice rink, a pretty average shopping centre, the town park (swings and climbing frames) etc.

Go a bit further out and you have the Coalbrookdale museums and Ironbridge etc... which are OK.

Just up the M54/A5 you very quickly hit the Wrekin and a bit further on you are in Wales... Telford is surrounded by pretty countryside.

Feel free to pop by my shop mate, I'm a 30 min drive from Telford.

Can't say I'm a fan of Telford but it's not a bad place, surrounded by nice rounds with good routes to Wales ;)  If your in the VX then you might have a good drive.

Ha Ha , good one. Thankfully, HH would be very welcome and safe as we all voted for Brexit around here (67% or thereabouts).

Ha this is where I work, made a right mess in less than 24hrs....

As many above agree, Telford isnt the nicest, but Shrewsbury is well worth a look.
