Can you turbo guys check your maf sensor and say which way round it is facing??

 

Mine was facing sensor towards the engine

which is correct for the VX Z20LET?

I did but if u spin it both ways should be facing the engine block which is correct But want to know if the sensor is plugged into near the bulk head or near the water bottle

the position of the plug , does not matter , the sensor head sits central in the tube.

the mesh needs to face towards the airbox i believe. there should be an arrow on with the direction..

I thought I had fitted my wrong way round but arrow was still facing inwards towards the turbo Still broke Car run fine with it disconnected but with the maf connected if hunts or a second or two then stalls P0100 error Ordered a new Bosch maf should fix this issue Thanks guys

Could well be the wiring that powers the MAF and not the unit itself. Mine had a short which caused issues when plugged in.

I have a couple spare 70mm MAF , I switched to the 80mm ones , so have spares to test with.

Thanks Steve I have already ordered a brand new Bosch one but if it doesn't fix the problem I might need ur clever head and spares 😋

There is an extended loom which connects near the cam pulley cover and goes into the firewall and back out to feed the maf. Start but continuity testing that.
