Hi everyone I am after a vx Na, either a normal na or an ITB one (would be nice if it had some mods but not necessary ) my dream vx is a lightning yellow, but all will be considered as a vx is a vx end of the day! I am based In scotland but would be willing to travel far for the right vx =) I have already been in touch with a couple of people on here that are selling but would just like to open my eyes to whats out there before i spend. Are there any people thinking of selling in the near future? Maybe even my dream lightning yellow? Cheers, Matt

evening matt, I bought bob's vx 2.2 6 weeks ago and am slightly concerned I may have forgotten that I'm 55 and not 25! bob had lots of photos of the car which you can see with all the history by looking at his advert in the for sale section. I've done 550 miles since I bought it and it's been fantastic- I had 2 lotus elans (proper ones from the 70's!) in my youth. I've got a newish golf GT TDI with an electric hood and my only gripe with the vx is that I'm getting a bit frustrated having to 'faff around' when I'm putting the hood up and down. 

 

I took it to craig moncrieff cars in edinburgh who was highly recommended by the chaps on the forum, he has given the car a good looking over and was very impressed with the way bob has looked after it- he was/is a real gent. 

bob told me that the radio didn't work well which is due to a faulty aerial; I've ordered a vauxhall one which craig will fit. 

I paid bob the full asking price of £8750 as he said the car is even better in the flesh than in the pictures, I'd be looking for the same price as I paid.
