Interesting seeing the vxr engine bay from the herritage centre.

Aftermarket air pipe, missing boot lit alarm rubber.

Almost looks as if it was bought back somewhere in time, instead of straight from production line into herritage centre.

V22 was a press car but still doesn't explain the wrong wheels (on the photos taken outside), blue hose arrangement. And is that an Ohlins external reservoir? Just a guess by the colour.

We had a gut feeling the wheels were needed for a waranty issue, and due to no longer available, this one was canabilised.

I believe later pictures from the herritage centre, show the correct wheels again.

 

The ohlins were an option for the VXR iirc.
