Has anyone got a repair/rebuild manual for the 2l turbo, checked the ones on line but can't seem to get Specifics, around camshaft removal and timming

Thanks does any of the Haynes manuals loosely cover this engine, Zafira, Astra etc ???

In my head, be specific about what details you need and maybe we can help, though I am not willing to write a whole book on how to strip and build the Z20LET.

 

Camshaft and timing is really easy, just look at what you have, put the cam lock tool in, then when you re-assemble make sure all cam wheel markings are the same (hint: use a camera before dis-assembly). Hand turn the crank 720 degrees prior to start up to check for fouling.

Ideally full head strip down, cam removal and valve stem seals ow and torque wrench settings also just handy too earn more about this engine.
