Anyone know a good product to permanently stick this rubber to the TAT?

The rubber goes around the edge of the diffuser, I need it because some of the paint has flicked the edge.

:yeahthat: I used this version http://www.carbuilde...c-edge-trim-3mm It took a rubber mallet to get most of it on and it hasn't budged in about 6 years despite the diffuser being on and off dozens of times.

Run a bead of sikaflex down the U channel. Not a lot of stuff actually sticks to rubber.

Thanks for your replies. I've been to the shop around the corner from me and found this stuff and I've called the powder coaters and got quoted £50 for a blast and repaint. If this doesn't work I will give up with the rubber and get it refinished, although it's in very good condition overall so I would rather keep my rubber on :)

Yeah I wasn't please with how it was fitted, it rattles but I think I know what I need to do to sort that also the rubber fell off on the way home. I found out what the metal bracket is for. You're supposed to put it above the clam at the back of the diffuser (between the clam and the exhaust heatshield) and screw the bolts into it. I already got one on mine but couldn't see it because it was dark, you need it for yours so I'll keep it to one side for you. You also need to buy this ideally as you were missing all your rear bolts:

Thanks for that, I may send you a message if I get stuck

This stuff has seemed to work very well so far, seems very stuck on.

Why does it need the rubber in the first place ?

Yeah Gaffer the spire clips go onto that strip of aluminium you have there and it goes the other side of the clam below the exhaust heat shield. Mine rattles a little bit so I'm going swap that strip of ali for some  some L angle aluminium to give it a bit more stiffness. Ill probably put some rubber edging on my diffuser for aesthetics. Definitely looks a bit nicer.

Do people regularly get on their hands and knees and inspect your under trays?

The paint was chipped off on the visible bit that sticks out.
