So, after what has seemed an eternity (but is only actually 3 months) I've finally moved a whopping 30 miles north from Luton to a small hamlet just outside Newport Pagnell.

The roads seem a lot less packed generally, but has anyone got any recommendations for good driving roads around the area?

Ta.

Im in MK. The A421/422 is a nice little stretch, and there are some good roads over your way, as well as around Silverstone way. Just go for a drive and see what happens. Happy to come out with you if you want some company. Im in MK10

Yeah that. I have a 6 mile circular route around the edges of the centre that I can be found using on a Sunday evening. Get some of the roundabouts right and they can be taken almost without lifting.

Best driving roads in and around MK itself. Find a nice early weekend morning or Sunday night, stick to the dual carridgeways and you can have a high speed blast as good,as a day on track!

Come along to the meet at Dunstable Downs on Sunday morning. There are some nice roads around there

Thanks all.

Yeah, quite close to Sherington Rob, I'm in a barn conversion just outside Gayhurst.

I've done the usual blasts around MK which are a good laugh but I'd like to find some twisties.  There's a half decent one from mine to Olney but it's waaaay to short.

D-Dawg - may take you up on the offer in a few weeks time if that's ok!

Cheers.

Is that the run from emberton through to Newton blossomville? Turn off up to Hardmead to get back on the 421 or when in Olney turn off at Desmond Smails and head off to Weston underwood and on towards Horton/Denton/Grendon and onto Bozeat Harrold Carlton Turvey etc. I'll have to catch you next time I'm up there :)
