I Have just got back from Italy, near Rome. Although we were not too close to the devastation caused by the earthquake, we were close enough for it to shake us & our bed 3ft across the room & damage some of the windows in the Villa. It's a really weird feeling being bounced & seeing the room shake.

I thought I was dreaming at first. The villages further up & closer to the epicenter were very badly damaged.

I was out there a few years ago when the Bologna-Modena region was affected. It was truly horrible to have the one constant you trust, start moving around. The fear of going back into buildings was also apparent so my heart goes out to them
