I finally think I'm almost ready. Race licence has been received by the MSA so waiting on then to send it back and ordered my race number stickers(9)

Its at Rockingham and is on the long circuit (maybe I should have voted to change the layout halfway through the national 😂)

Got a few jobs to do this weekend bit nothing massive.

Hoping I get some testing time on the Friday just to make sure the cars ok but I'm not sure how testing on the day before works at the minute.

The race is on Saturday the 10th though. It's £12 for pre booked tickets or £16 on the door.

The only thing I wanted to know about the long circuit is how fast I could safely go into Gracelands.

Good luck! Should be a very different experience to a track day. :)

The long circuit will be easier on the fuel starvation too as the pump can prime on the straight leading to Gracelands. How many laps is the race? Do you have a pro-alloy tank?

Fingers crossed it doesn't rain, Rockingham is a whole different place in the wet. You absolutely need to drive the wet line for any traction on the infield.

Sheddens pole lap this year is a masterclass of how to drive it in the wet

ETA - Gordon is on full wet tyres too so has loads more grip than you will.

It's a 40 minute race with a 2 minute stop.

I have the standard tank but ive only ever had fuel starvation when I've been out with it on refill. The NA only sips haha.

After how slippy I found it at the national it should be a breeze in the wet!

If you qualify on pole then run away at the start, you won't have to do any racing. Easy.

There is 3 classes.

Class A 260bhp/ton

Class B 200bhp/ton

Class C 140bhp/ton

I'm in class C as the bhp is whp and the weight is including the driver at the end of the race.

There is also a V8 westfield that races that isn't in any class as he's way over the class A power. Not sure why he does it as he's just always in front. :/
