I don't think so. Have just read that Fuzz doesn't own that place any more and is starting up his own place
I saw the first of the new series unveiled today:

In their FAQ section it says it takes 200 hours to paint a car if it doesnt need any repairs. Later on it says their labour rate is £42 plus VAT per hour, that makes it over £10k to paint a car!! They must be on drugs, so must the people that pay it.
How can it take 25 days to paint a car that needs no repairs. I think they mean 20 hours

Well according to Fuzz yesterday they only have 21 days to do a full restoration. 200 hours to spray a bit of paint on must be a typo

200 hours is only a working month for someone. IT depends on the extent of the job but if you are repairing an old rusty chassis and finishing it to a very high standard it would be about right.

I love the show, but i'm struggeling to buy into the 21 day story.
They can only get the list of parts needed after the car is picked up and inspected, and then get what they need.
That in combination wth usually an acid bath or soda blast for the chassis, and the time lost with the car in the paint booth.
There is just not much time left.
I would put my money on that they get the car much sooner then the "barn find" date and that the owner is aware that his car is gone for months and is asked to act surprised at the reveal. (Which some are struggeling with in my opinion)

200 is for a repaint, they say 500 or over for a restoration

200 hours to repaint a car is about right for some candy paint colours to the highest possible finish. If you think that you can pay £1000's to a detailer to spend a week or two making your new delivery miles car perfect then spending it on paint in the first place makes sense.
