Hi all

I'm just about to embark on a SC project and wanted your valued opinion  :D

I'm not keen on filtered to atmosphere crankcase ventilation solutions the fumes to me are just too strong, so that gets me thinking if anyone uses a sealed OEM type solution.

My thoughts so far are to use an oil seperator then vent the gasses back in before the supercharger in the intake hose, has anyone done something similar ??

John

Chill has a working approach to this. I vent to atmosphere via a catch tank. The vent is right at the back of the car so I never smell the fumes. Simple and effective..

Are you sure it's oil fumes? Check to make sure a charcoal canister pipe has been fitted

Cheers Joe hopefully I can make a currently tatty one into a nice example.

I have had cars in the past with them on - admittedly front engined and not rear.

Is there anything to stop me making a system up that vents it back into the intake ??

Catch tank will just fill up with condensation and will need emptying every couple of days Research Pcv valve and look for chills post or look for when chill removed his laminovas in intake or pm him

you'll need a catch tank that drains into the sump. I'm running a provent 200 that does just that

If you're not a heavy tracker; just simply use the original OEM GM system as. (Needs a small modification in the gasket for a 2.2 head)

Since doing the gasket mod I don't get any fumes and it was really bad before.
