If I wanted instant improvement I would sell the car and buy a proper lightweight sports car like a lotus....wouldn't you agree?

I won't fuel a debate on style, I adore the speedlines and had them on my old Corrado, but I've genuinely seen a noticeable improvement in steering feel and general manners on both track and road through fitting lighter wheels. I never ran the car on OEM wheels only TDs but the forged wheels save about 20-30% on them and 40%+ on the oem iirc.

As this is a group buy thread for speedlines surely the conversation should focus on getting the minimum numbers needed to achieve the discount. Rather than discussing why people are better off looking at other makes. Sorry in advance if I offend anyone but let's focus on the task in hand and get this group buy off the ground. Working on it, but speedline say the Mold that makes this size ( 8x17 ) has not been cast for a few years as we know and will need some maintenance and for sure with set up for casting there will be some scrap casting for the 1^st few shots so they would like some more order cover as they say they will cast between 150 & 200pcs to cover off the scraps and mold set up scraps until mold is working nice and free so to speak so they estimate 15% poss a little more so they would like me and my colleagues here to cover off 100pcs.

So you have approx. 50pcs covered off with your guys / VX220 drivers and we have now just contacted our guy in Australia as he was keen should this wheel size be produced again to inform him as he wanted some for Holden cars and Now we can offer it for BMW E30 M3 GpA as an alternate to the Forged original which is veryt costly.

I am not in any rush for the wheels, so don't mind waiting a few more weeks / months.
