http://www.lotus-on-...nt.php?eid=1042 Zolder maybe in the shadow of its more illustrious counterpart at Spa-Francorchamps but nevertheless Belgium's first purpose-built circuit is great it its own right. With plenty of history and some fantastic corners it really is a circuit that's worth visiting. Open Pit Lane - what else would you want! Directions & Accommodation: http://lotus-on-trac...ide/zolder.html Length: 2.466 miles Noise limit: 95db DRIVE BY track side* Format: Open Pit Lane Price: £195/235 Euro Instruction: £30/35 Euros Crash Helmets: £20/25Euros 2nd Driver (over 21): FREE - must be experienced and attend the 1st sign on and briefing. 3rd drivers - 50 Euros Passengers (over 18): FREE * Although we don't expect any major problems with the vast majority of cars. The circuit has a procedure where all cars are fitted with a transponder so that any car that breaks the noise limit can be identified. If you break the noise limit you are shown a printout and told what your reading was. If you break it a 2nd time, day is over. Over the last 8 events at Zolder we've had 90% of cars running into the afternoon - this has been the case with both events in 2016 as well. Cars should have cats fitted (this helps to lower noise), this is a legal requirement and you should check your exhaust is working properly. If in doubt by all means drop us an email, all cars are different so we can't tell fully in advance but we can give advice on previous days. Booked 1. TeamVXRacing Stay at the circuit own hotel , De Pits , https://secure.cubil...id=6576&lang=en

Sheesh 95 dB drive by, how can that be useful to an owner when they don't state the distance from the the car or what filter they are using to measure it (A/B/C etc) as that makes a big difference too. If an owner had a dB meter and wanted to check if his car would be safe on the track, he couldn't do it, due to this complete lack of clarity.

Useless idiots, if you are going to make a rule/law, at least make it precise, or people will simply stay away as it's just so vague.

That's exactly what happens. SC people stay away from Zolder.

Probably linked to lotus factory exhausts.

I tried with a miltek NA cat and backbox when i was stage 2. Still flagged with 95.8
