Any particular things that need to be considered other than the size? I see o rings are available in loads of different types of rubber variants.. just something high temp and oil resistant?

Just go on to eBay and order a 65x3mm Viton O ring, there are lots of people who do them in bulk or singly.  Ordinary general purpose Viton is good for more than 200C.

Just got some, but are the wrong size too big. Are you sure this is the right size for the 2.2 engine?

9197883 is the correct part number

part number 14 on the EPC = https://www.speedste...lter/index.html

If the seal is too big it will be a standard O ring seal for the astra/vectra/zafira

Have just clocked two original OEM O rings, one still unused in it's bag and the other used in it's bag, both part number 9197883, and they are both definitely 65mm i/d X 3mm diameter.
