Will they need programming/coding? If so how and what sort of cost does this entail?

Yeah same one, might be interested... but would need someone to sort out programming for me, because Lotus dealerships in France are complicated to sort out for me...

I would be interested as well but again the timing is not so great for me financially, how long before the list is closed?

I'd hazard a guess that the list will close when we hit 10.I would be interested as well but again the timing is not so great for me financially, how long before the list is closed?

How will the 4-channel abs be affected by using similar tire size front and rear, not 16/17 like on a lotus?

No it needs to be done on a car using opcom for each unit, or at least mine did. You could do it on the same car by swapping and resetting each unit one at a time though. I'm not sure if it would matter if it were NA/turbo which is worth investigating if your going down that road.I too was hoping for closer to £400, but I'm still in. To reset on a car do you still need the lotus scan tool or can it be done on a car that already has a 4ch unit fitted?
The abs computer gets reading from each wheel hub and looks at differences. So if some wheels are rotating slower than others it releases and reapplies the brakes. I think the 2-11 unit works at 7%, it's not the wheel size it's the circumference of the tyre. If you stick to OEM tyre sizes you should be fine. How will the 4-channel abs be affected by using similar tire size front and rear, not 16/17 like on a lotus?

You mention Opcom - are you sure you can use Opcom for this as I thought it had to be the official lotus stuff?

Blimey. Nearly £700 rrp?!! I got lucky then and managed to get one for £300 off a forum member. It was brand new and he'd sold his VX before he got round to fitting it. Allon White Sports Cars in Milton Keynes also kindly did the reset for free. But I know other Lotus dealers will charge up to £50 to perform the reset if you don't take advantage of FLD's kind offer to do it for you.Lotus price is £698. Paul will do them at £499 delivered in the uk.
