Picked mine up from Oakmere earlier today. Thanks again for sorting the GB out. As far as coding was concerned, I'm lead to believe that its simpler than I first thought.... Its apparently just a fault code reset on the ecu. Meaning anyone with a OBD11 thingy can reset the fault and your good to go. FLD can you confirm? Thanks again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It us just a reset but an OBD will not reset it. You need a Lotus specific thingy-ma-gig.

For those in Surrey and surrounding, does BOT not have the Lotus cray computer?

I went to see Mike at sports car services today and for some reason his lotus scan tool could not reset it which was strange as he did one for me a few years ago using the same tool.So either I have a dead one or he was doing something wrong has anyone any ideas.

It's easy. Plug in the yellow lotus lead; open the abs page; press reset; unplug lead. Done!

Ended up having the better half take it for the reset as Allon White couldn't keep my Saturday appointment . She said they were quick and very professional. I've only given it a short test run so far but it does seem better. Long straight near my house has a lot of dips and bumps ( typical fen road) it would normally upset the 2 Chanel system, but so far all I've had has been good positive braking.

Mine arrived today and I wasn't even on the list - many thanks to FLD and Paul at Chris Neil who was really good to chat to. Sorry Winston, shouldn't end with a preposition, but I'm tired. Spent all day in the cold working out how to get brown wetsuit maker onto the car trailer!

Paul isn't on the forum so you will need to call him. I believe he is waiting on stock but can't confirm that. I believe he has card details from most but may not have taken payment yet until the units ship out. Best to call him to confirm.

Regarding the reset: For those in the Guildford area, BoT do not have the correct gear and neither does Max ("Max500" in his new setup in the middle of the town) although he tried very hard to get into the ABS page.

Bell & Colvill obviously have the gear but wanted £50+VAT which I declined!

Looking further afield now but ideas welcome.

It's a two minute job so I'd love to challenge how they arrive at a charge of £60! Allon White Sports Cars did mine for free about 3 years ago.

Just had mine reset, had a few issues but eventually it worked. It took over an hour with the laptop plugged in. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
