Sheesh, get them to do the first point on my list.

They can also isolate the MAF (even if it's brand new) by disconnecting it and the ECU will run in open loop mode (thus eliminating it (and any possible wiring problem to it) from the list of culprits).

Done it all wishbone bolt boy :D

Work in progress. Its actually misfiring under load the hunting was sorted with a lambda some time ago. Intermittent problem I'd previously driven it for 2 hours with no issues then its back again. We have tested all the easy stuff.

Hello fellow enthusiasts (that doesn't include me right now  :(  )

Just a quick update:

Swapped out/replaced so far:

 • MAF
 • MAP sensor
 • Coil pack
 • Spark plugs
 • Boost solenoid
 • O2 lambda sensor
 • Throttle body
 • Injectors
 • Fuel rail
 • Fuel pressure regulator

Still not bottomed out the u1200 error on opcom, but I believe another ecu is on the way

Any news on that napalm?

Has the entire charge pipework been properly pressure tested yet (from airbox to cylinder head)?

If it has, and assuming it's not the problem, then there are quite a few other things to check. For a start, a faulty bypass valve (and connecting vac pipework + bypass solenoid) would be my next check. After that, cam sensor, waste gate housing crack, faulty actuator etc etc.

Idling issues are unlikely to be an ECU problem IMO, in fact if the revs are hunting it shows the ECU is probably working well and is trying to compensate for whatever the fault is.
