Good evening,new to forums.

Purchased damaged vx 220 turbo today ,just looking to find out a bit about it .Also only came with ignition key and no immobiliser fob.It will turn over but not fire ,red light is flashing as are the indicators, and alarm.

It's a 2003 green turbo previous reg number was  V20 VXT

Looks to have had alot of money spent ,ap brake conversion ,nitron shocks ect .

It is only one owner from new ,just wondered if anyone knows the car.

thanks

Fob is for the alarm only. Immobiliser is in the key. Try pushing the fuel cut off switch

the easiest option to fix the alarm is to replace the control unit, it is mounted under the dashboard, behind the radio.

You can pick up a used alarm control box and fob for about £50.

I probably have one somewhere or Elizp987 should have one available

Bloody hell Phil, sounds like you did a proper job. A green turbo is a rare car, do you have any pics?

ooch...out of interest was the car on original toe links, trying to establish if the up-rated ones ever fail.
