That front does look a little off. Fingers crossed not chassis and just bent arb or steering arm. Did the headlamp survive?

Ask turboluca to help you as he's had many in that state . Looks like you can spend around 3k an get it back on track ?

Ouch! As already said these things happen and It doesn't look like it will take much to get it back to its former glory! First track day in my VX I boiled the brake fluid and had a similar pedal to the floor moment but luckily managed to limp back to the pits.  I've just changed fluid, lines, discs and pads ready for my next attempt.

It happened to me,This first time on track with a new car boiling brake fluid seems to be a recurring theme! new owners take note,change the brake fluid before going on track with a new car!

Front wheel hit, the track rod end and wishbones are both bent, That's my main worry!

Front wheel hit, the track rod end and wishbones are both bent, That's my main worry!

Thought so. Check those susp pick ups before you spend a penny on it

That was the problem with mine the inside upper wishbone point had a split in it so I let it go.

I am not 100% sure if they are still available, but have a pair of brand new ones in my 'not for sale' stash of parts :blush:

Yeah thats my plan, just need to find some time to get that front clam off and strip the suspensions parts off and go from there, fingers crossed!

You might find your steering rack casing has broken also if the wheels had a good whack. Check the end of the channel it sits in also

We should be doing a mold of them

 

Not a money spinner we rarely get asked but all the bodywork is obsolete with Vaux now!
