I'm looking for a feedback about the use of Bosch EV14 injectors, as I plan to use them in the 627cc version for my 360Hp turbo

Thank you

karl

What kind of feedback?

Some of us use the Bosch EV14's in their (300+) SC cars, but that's the Z22SE type engine and your turbo Speedster probably is the Z20LET? (Should fit though, as the LET injectors also fit in our engines.)

The EV14 injectors work perfect, but they need a special tip adapter for fitment in our engines. And then you need to tune the ecu for them...

Aren't the rubber seal rings on the EV1 and EV14 different?

Thank you Exmantaa, that's this kind of feedback I expected

in fact nothing wrong with the impedance or spray patern, sometimes it seems ok on the paper but not in the real life

Nev you've got every dimensions here http://www.bosch-mot...75993867pdf.pdf

for a Z22SE/B207 type or the Z20NET engine?

I have the right part number somewhere and you need a tip adapter for our engines.

I've got a good old Z20LET, for now I'm making an intake manifold and I'll see what kind of body I can use, for the flow rate I think 550cc would be enougth but I can't find the spec

don't use the siemens deka 4 injectors they are very non linear and poor quality control

for EV14 data , look here ; http://nefariousmoto...php?topic=320.0

chances are you will also need a 90mm MAF if you are going to flow that much mass of air you need that much fuel

EV14 is what all the big power SC people should be using. The Deka 4 have the wrong spray pattern for the z22se and Saab engines.

I have Siemens Deka 4 in my car, it might be that they contribute to my lumpy idle/splutteryness < 1800 RPM.

I did note that the spray pattern in them was different at the time of buying them, but was advised at the time it was of no consequence by Chris Randal.

Having said that, hundreds of Z20LETs are successfully running around with Siemens Deka 4s in them.

the idle problem will be due to the latency of the injector

Really, how sure are you please?

I find it hard to imagine they could have so much latency to cause the closed loop problem surely ?

Your link is a gold mine Siztenboots, but if I look carefully the best injector for my application would be an "old" EV6 type, the 0280156290 it has exactly the same spray type as the blue VXR injector (0280156280) i.e. E / alpha 20° / gamma 0° / delta 90° with a Q=571cc

I would be curious to know what kind of EV14 injector you use on your supercharged Z22...

Very good article I'm sold anyone up for a group buy Sure I can ask peter to put them in the obdtuner drop down boxes Could this also cause the hiccup that can happen when we use the ls4 throttle body, or do we think this is completely unrelated ??

With plugs i take it you mean the insulators?

I also seen those in the Z22SE used in the Vectra.

Fuelrail also needs rail extenders like here: (i used a Z20NET rail, that has these allready)
