That is getting close to the accepted limit (exact linearity limit depends on the injector specs. you have Siemens 60's?), but can still be acceptable as you're not often at those rpms.

If you're upgrading, choose a modern Bosch EV14 type or f.i. those Injector Dynamics. Much better injector control at small (idle quality) and very high IDC's. They also work better on higher fuel pressures.

(I'm at 83% IDC @7800rpm with EV14's, but running 3.0 bar pressure.)

Yes using Siemens 60lb injectors but TBH I don't want to push my engine anymore So shouldn't be a issue

Could be that the spray pattern of the EV14's gives you better idle quality and/or response behavior, but is something you simply have to try out...

It's the response behaviour I would want to improve more than anything else but a better idle is a bonus 👍

Also with water injection engaged? You can run leaner with water doing the cylinder cooling job.

I did briefly run a touch leaner but TBH the car was a bit silly And didn't feel comfortable with the extra power The water injection was never about extra power it was to keep the power constant which I'm sure is now doing a great job And again I do t want to put anymore strain on the engine There is enough power there for me ATM Rome was not built in a day I've still got some more fine tuning with the water but TBH I'm having a winter off Role on February

It's not about more power, but the excess fuel (11.8) in a forced induction engine is there for cooling the burn. You now have water doing that job.

Lot's of lecture on the web.
