Aye up The front tyres on my 320d msport have started wearing badly on the outer edges. Is this likely alignment? Front toe? Should I just take it to a big chain like quickfit or national tyres for a front wheel alignment? Or not!! I'm in the Woking area in case anyone knows anywhere. Cheers steve

Google camber pin mod. It introduces the correct amount of negative camber to ensure even tyre wear. It'll cost you nothing but an hour of your time.

I had similar on my 1 series. Drilled out the pins in the front top mounts and then shunted the mounts over. You can sometimes pull or hammer them out but mine were stuck solid so drilling was the only answer. Handling is still fine etc but tyres wear evenly

I had an e92 (also a 320d) with the 19's, like them all it destroyed the shoulders. A few things which seemed to help: - not running run flats (probably won't be anyway by this stage) - being religious about pressures I wasn't aware of the mod, I ditched the awful bridgestone run flats when they wore & swapped to falken 452's, kept on top of pressures & got very decent life from the tyres.

Sorry, should've said rears wear on the inside too, fronts wear on the outside.
