Yes because Neil had arranged through his AA eurocover to pick up a hire car to get him home, and that was collected in Dover.

What breakdown provider sends a UK registered pick up and trailer to deliver you to a Belgian garage

It was in fact a nice bloke with an S1 Elise who took pity on me and offered to trailer it back to the hotel before I called breakdown. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Haha! Yeah it was Rich's Exige with me and loads of baggage piled on top of me in the passenger seat. Chris wasn't far behind with the rest of the luggage. Thanks to you both for helping me out. Team spirit and all that. Would have been a perfect weekend if car had stayed reliable. Good company, amazing weather, and the best track in Europe. Next time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So the car is fixed. Was the driveshaft that had popped out like Lee said it would be. £150 euros inc vat and gearbox oil so could have been waaaay worse. Also, many many thanks to Malcolm (mitm) as he's offered to go get it back from Belgium! AA have been brilliant to be fair, paying for his flights, taxis and Chunnel return and organising the whole journey. Some brilliant people on this forum Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great news, could have been so much worse. Book another Spa day to make up for it now ;)
