Today i get arround 305 HP with 80mm / 3.15 Pulley. I will post a OBD Power run later. When i decide for cams i go for stage 1 because i do not want the power in the high rpm range. But i am not sure now, of this was the right decision. But i am power limited because of the stock engine and my max power aim will be 340 HP. Which hopefully will be no problem with WI and smaller pulley

And also nice to drive. I do not see any downsides. Maybe a good driver on a fast track - i am not. I do not have any grip problems: when the car is straight, there is no slip in 2. gear. Save unsprung weight and comfort is great.

Keep the 80mm pulley and start tuning your ignition settings for more power. If you still have a stock head, this will be a restriction for higher power and Stage 2 / 3 cams will not bring much extra.

A B207 + Harrop loves to rev and we're getting around 355/360 with an 80mm pulley @7.8K. Problem is to keep that power at higher (track) temps, but that's where we need the WI for.

most had stage 2 zzp cams, but after the 550 bhp Harrop engine my suspicions were proved right, that the mild cams are the cause of the sub 400 bhp power limit and not the inlet manifold.

That engine had stage 3 NA cams, not the milder zzp stage 3 cams.

Which leads nicely on to mynext question, How much can I safely push my Saab b207 2.2 without risking things ???

Ignition is fully optimised. I know that i have not the best power. I have knocking beginning at 5900 und most 6400 rpm and habe to pull back ignition masiv. The reason for that i do not know. I hope WI will help. I know that harrop loves to rev - my limiter is 7200, i shift @ 7000. i am afraid of high revs for the oem saab.

Maybe you have read this before, but i found i was getting knock from a ignition setting when the ignition is to low, im not saying this is the case for your self but can you rather post or pm me your ignition setting or even email me one of your files as i collect obdtuner maps for fun
