It appears that three out of twelve spacers have a diameter small enough to let them slide in without any force at all. The other nine spacers have a different diameter, 0.02mm larger than the diameter of the eye's hole. These can probably be press fitted using a vise but what happens the day I want to remove them? I don't want to risk damaging the dampers.
Seriously Lotus, from whom I bought the dampers, have never heard of this before and say they always slide in easily.
So my question is, should these slide in easily, or has Nitron changed the design? Perhaps I have got a mix of old and new spacers?
Cheers
