I can't lock the drivers door with the key and I can't unlock the passenger door with the key. Is this a common fault? Are they likely just to be seized? I have no central locking. Thanks Ed

I think you maybe right, gave it a squirt, but couldn't find the straw, so most of it went on the car. Seem to move a little. I find a straw and try again tomorrow. Definitely not frozen it's garaged and not cold here. Thanks

Use graphite powder not WD40. Any locksmith sells it in a little puffer bottle or a tiny aerosol that you push into the lock

Graphite as Mark said. Try rubbing a pencil all over the key and give it a bit of wiggle wiggle.

Have this on mine too. Took ages, but eventually got it undone after some major wiggling. Don't think will unlock next time. Seems to be getting worse. Internals are probably messed up.

not just VX , the porsche was frozen solid this morning. handy when you have frameless windows and a flat battery and the alarm is going off. oh and the battery compartment is electrically locked, so you have to mechanically unlock one door to get access to a special charging point to operate the locks with a 12v source.
