Hello, as part of my clutch change I've had both the front and rear engine mounts off. On replacing them, I spotted the front one is split. I've done some ringing around (local vaux dealer & Autovaux) and it looks like they are no longer available as OEM.

Does anybody have a spare lying around that they would sell? Given the split I would not be confident on using the poly-insert.

I've been looking on the forum to see if other LET models had a mount that I could use however I've not found anything either way.

Thanks in advance.

What part have you enquired about? Looks like you only really need No.3 from this diagram? The two parts are seperate and should I believe be a press fit installation so there should be no need for another bracket you can reuse yours.

Autovaux have what you need showing on their site here or I have a brand new one you can have for a tenner less.

I'm not 100% sure but I would imagine a Z20LET Astra would share the components, if so their are plenty of those on eBay for cheap.

A good solution is to put the item you have in the dishwasher and clean it thoroughly. Then buy some polyurethane off eBay etc and pour it into the voids around the break, to effectively make a more solid mount. Then re-insert and reuse. It will reduce engine rocking a little as it will be firmer and you may get some mild NVH.

You can also apply this remedy to the other unbroken mount to pre-empt the problem occurring on it too.

Thanks chaps. -Dab-of-Oppo-, item no 3 is the part I'm after. If you have one going spare that would be great. I'll drop you a PM. Hairy - I did make contact with autovaux but they could not help. Nev - as always thanks for the tips. I've just spent the last 10 mins looking at making polyurethane mounts on you tube. My wife will go crazy if she caught engine parts in the dishwasher however adding poly to the mounts looks like quite a smart thing to do. If guess if you put the time in you could get some pretty good results. Thanks!

  I hope you are joking.

I'm already operating on borrowed time. The conservatory currently contains a clam, two seats, a full exhaust system and plenty of miscellaneous pieces. The dishwasher sounds high risk.
