Check the straightness of that thing; heard that some flanges of those were not really flat...

Ive put a steel rule across it and it looks ok. It will be put on a linisher before installation anyway. Some of the internal casting wants a clean up and general de-burrCheck the straightness of that thing; heard that some flanges of those were not really flat...

Also, match the gasket to the cylinder head and the new manifold to ensure the gasket apertures are large enough (which you can cut larger with a sharp knife). If you don't, the gasket can protrude into the air stream with obvious consequences.
Is your GB out yet?

Don't worry Nev I'll be port matching.
Gearbox was out last night followed by a big glass of wine.
Lining up the box and the mounts is going to be fun on the way back in .

be careful with that alternator bracket and threaded hole in the manifold, wall section is quite thin there , tbh you really do not need all the extra bolt , just the main bottom rotating assembly and the top bolt to the block

Yea, getting the splines lined up can be a bitch. Can take 5 mins or can take 2 hours...

That adjustable alternator adjuster will be worth it's weight in gold. As Sizten says, take note of how soft the alu on the new inlet manifold is when you insert bolts into it.

How knackered were your old conical diff bearings?
Mine were worrysomely bent and dinged as if someone had been smacking them with a hammer.
Are you installing the correct shims by the way, so the diff doesn't rattle about? When mine went in there was crossed wires about the shimming form Quiafe themselves. I had to open it up a second time when they finally decided that it should be shimmed.
