I am working hard at the man maths to justify replacing my car with an Evora later this year. The kids are 8 and 5. For those who have been running their cars for a while now, how practical are the rear seats for kids? Is it a case of squash them in and try to keep them happy or can they be accommodated comfortably on short trips?

I would not be planning any long trips with the kids in the back, we can use the family car for that, maybe a maximum of 45 minutes at a time. But I'd hate to get the car and find the kids outgrow it within a year. Any thoughts/practical experience on the maximum height before comfortable rear seat travel is a no go?

I need to get along to Murray Lotus and have a proper look inside one, ideally with the kids. Would appreciate any thoughts or comments from those that have running their car for a while now.

Gary

Are you on Scottish Elises at all? Worth having a chat to Campbell on there, he has/had an Evora with 2 kids and they seemed to get on ok

One of my grandsons will be 10 in 7 weeks time, not short, and he is happy in the back behind the passenger seat moved forward slightly for 2 hour journeys. I would say that 11 would probably be the limit. Only point I would make is that to make the seating position ideal with height of head and seat belt fit he can't use a booster cushion.

Me and Timbo have been in the back of CoCo's 400. They're extremely practical.

Wouldn't know. I've got an Evora +0 so I can be a selfish get and just go for a drive on my own and enjoy it.....

The screams and giggles I make are even louder than any kids in the back would be.....hehehe......

Yep they are fine for kids, you can get adults in the back but it's a squeeze. I did 150 miles with me and 3 other blokes but the 2 in the rear seats complained a bit!
