Thinking of moving on my SEAT Altea Freetrack. It's a complete oddball car, but has a lot to offer. It's based on an Altea XL, with raised suspension, sports seats, and a Haldex 4 wheel drive system (it will drive the front wheels most of the time, and engage the rears under high throttle or if slip is detected). This one has a 2 litre turbo petrol engine, mapped to 250 bhp by the previous owner. It drives very well on road, suspension is not overly soft or wallowey given its intended usage.

I had half an eye on trailering the VX with it, it's a light car so the combined weight works without needing a new licence afaik.

Very rare on the road, I've seen the odd one out and about, but only 65 or so petrols were sold in the uk. I've used it for light off road duty, i.e. muddy fields and gravel - it's also great on battered city roads and speed bumps. Huge Q potential, plenty of overtaking ability and can easily get up to silly speeds, but nobody will suspect it.

Similar to allroad / Octavia scout / yeti / v50. Also similar to GTI, R32, S3 at a stretch and if you close your eyes. It's Vauxhall equivalent would be the Mokka.

Looking for £3700, based in London and regularly down the M4 with work.

Features:
82k miles, UK reg, 2.0TFSI petrol, 6 speed manual
CO2 is 223
Mpg 25-35 depending on usage
Half leather seats
sports seats and steering wheel from Leon fr
Auto lights
Auto wipers
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Cruise control
Tyre pressure monitoring
Dual zone AC
Split fold rear seats with isofix
Split sliding rear seats
Dual level boot & full size spare
Electrical heated & folding mirrors
Rear seat TV screen with IR headphones
12v power and AV input to TV screen
Rear sun blinds
Rear tables fold out from back of front seats
Cosmetically ok, with a few trolley dings and dents, no rust or crash damage
Finance HPI clear and never cat recorded

Addons:
Rear detachable towbar
Roof rack (fits onto roof rails)
Android head unit with video feed to rear screen (runs satnav, audio, video, and basically whatever app you install onto it).

Servicing:
Fresh MOT last week
Everything works
4x Uniroyal Rainsport tyres last year
Front discs and pads done last year
Rear wheel bearing replaced last year
Haldex oil changed last year at 70k
Otherwise routine servicing

Cool Q car. With 250bhp it should dip under 7 to 60 and it looks ...ummm .... slower than that. But, not sure how suited it would be for towing a vx. Tow capacity is 1400kg (according to parkers). A decent size trailer plus the vx would be pretty close to this if not more...

You may be OK with an NA. A tubby would be pushing your luck ;)

My trailer is 400kg empty.

Should just scrape under the various limits alright. 1646kg vehicle weight and 1400kg braked trailer rating (listed in owners manual) and 3500kg combined limit according to here https://www.gov.uk/t...hat-you-can-tow ... I'm still waiting for the day that someone admits to liking the look of it!

I really like them and so much potential for a quick car that is different to the boring norm 😊 400bhp and uprated brakes and suspension would make a seriously fun car DG

Just noticed your signature, what ballpark cost would a K04 conversion be? ;-)

I have a good deal done on a new car, so am happy to take a substantial discount off the asking on this. Will be advertised more widely later this month.
