Hello all,

Some track day highlights from a track day I did this weekend at Silverstone GP in the wet and zero degrees.

It was more of a drift day than a track day to be fair, but a lot of fun was had.

Firthy

Top driving Firthy! I do think VXs are underrated as drift cars actually, I find once you actually break traction it is quite friendly as it is always trying to pull straight.

Reminds me of the time when we were there with LoT and sharing the track with Honda on Track. 5 Hondas went off on the sighting laps1 You looked to be having though despite the awful conditions.

eta/ you could see your spin coming as that white car on your inside didn't seem to be lifting and so you were going in hotter than the other laps.

Exactly that, had that happen a few times on track and it's not nice, you're already compromised as you're trying to leave him space before turning in then the extra speed just meant you had less track to play with on the exit.

Quality driving though, some great car control there!   Imnotworthy  rallly

Thanks it was great fun - although I did carry more speed in to Copse and unsettle the car early I didn't spin because of that... from the apex of Copse I was dictating the angle with my right foot I was just trying to hold too much angle on the kerbs

Cracking driving. Looks like someone's welded the diff shut. Don't think I've ever driven on a road let alone track that slippery before. Big cojones!

Great car control, fair play. The way you guys looked at each other when you had recovered the 'moment' is priceless

I did a snowy track day at brands a couple of years ago in my old vx, I wish I had your skills as it would have been far more fun!

Great driving but i would stay away from kerbs and painted white lines in the wet or it could snap suddenly under power.
