Got it 50% across the corners now but it's obviously heavier on the driver's side.

Is it better to shift the weight over so it's more even left to right but compromising on how even the rideheight is or leave it as is?

yes compromise ride height to get the force on each wheel /axle  equal , especially front as thats braking and steering, put more rake on to work front tyres harder.

I think my problem is because I don't have a pax seat and have the drivers weight in its quite a lot on the right side. Given that the front right is already low and front left high, I'd have to go even further out to shift the weight. Ideally I need to move the seat to the centre haha!

its not unusual to adjust for the left front to be much lower , check with Jez at BoT what they run on Marks car.

Lowering the corner reduces the weight on there. I'd have to increase the left fronts rides height to move the weight there.
