No hope. Need to show some form of proof, like a pay slip etc.
You can get your place of work to get you signed up, so the company might need you to have one so all employees get one by showing a pay slip or company ID. Thats how I have mine. I need tools so qualify this way but the card works with no restrictions.

What Proof of Trade Do I Need? Yeah they are quite good, worth keeping an eye out when the offers are on, usually cheaper than with a trade card 👍I like their Pro tools especially work a life time guarantee

The saving grace of any tool which isnt great or breaks is you can change it for a new one really easily. The A level student serving you doesnt care so will swap it no questions, try that with the snap-on man! "did you service the ratchet with snap-on branded oil sir?".
