first generation honda insight, power to weight of a 1.5 petrol, with a 1.0 engine and 90MPG fully made from aluminium (moreso than our VX's!) endlessly reliable, rare and going up in value. mines saving me and arm and a leg on two hours driving a day, and it has nice gearing for 90mpg isnt too painfull on the engine. so £15 you can increase the electric motor power by 30%. look terrible, but free road tax, 90mpg and being pretty pokey is all good.
