Iv got a replica Dempert style splitter, and the fitment is rubbish. It appears that its not quite wide enough, as iv enlarged 2 holes to trial fit it, and it still wont fit. I can get one side lined up with the wheel arch, and the front sitting nicely, but thag throws the other side out. Cant seem to get it to work. Just wondering if any one else has had similar issues, and how they overcome them.

Maybe your car is too wide? Remember, I had a similar problem when my car was too long for the soft top!  :jump:

My Dempert is in two halves - bit surprised when it turned up like that , small 3mm gap between halves but hidden by number plate.

Please could anyone advise any tips for fitting. I have one in 2 halves and I am looking for a word from the wise if there is anything I should look out for.

I think 2 halves is the way forward.
