Looks quite tail happy especially on the back part of the circuit, was it slippery or were you purposely yawing the back end?

Any idea what sort of times 1:14ish?

Where in Lincolnshire are you Danny? I'm only 10-15 minutes from Cadwell, give me a shout if you ever book a track day there and I'll pop along :)

Thanks lee; we had a good luck around and talk with the owner.

Really nice guy and a simply awesome car!

The car was quite lively at the back to be honest Steve, I think it was a mix between the tires been a bit past they're best (R1R's) and the track been quite greasy.

In terms of lap times we were in the low 1;13's which shows good promise for the when the sticky rubber, LSD and shorter box go on!

I'm in horncastle 'chicken dippers', think we are at Cadwell on the 19th April but we are in the Mx5 not the Vx220.

Sounds good. Zoobeef is in the mid 1:12s with great setup, sticky tyres and some aero but his is a standard NA. With your proposed changes should see you smash that.

Yeah I've been very impressed with his  thread and video's, can seriously drive.

1.09 is the aim for Blyton this year.

Want to really try and loose as much weight as I can from this car, keep looking at S1 elise's and just how light they are!!!

I think Chirs Randal did a mid 1:10 in his race Europa there which I believe is the fastest Elise Chassis. I've had a few very low 1:11's in my 7 and will hopefully dip into the 1:10's on my next visit.

That's brilliant for the power in the 7 Steve, I know we were sub 1.10 in the Westfield but that had quite the better power to weight!!!

When we getting on track together this year?

Blyton is short and twisty so it really suits 7's You fancy Donnington? I have some unfinished business there :)

Would love to do Donnington in the summer once the few bits have been done.

Any particular dates?

The dates I have as possibilities are 21st April and 11th August, I've got other tracks earmarked for the months in between.

I managed a 1'11.5 with a dodgy map sensor and a car whoch kept cutting out, i think randall did a 1'10.2 iirc on youtube but my aim is a 1'09 this year.

I recon we should all book a test day in so we don't have any other traffic and just get on it.

I have been lucky to drive a lot of cars on track with different configurations and the monos are really pretty good, we won 2013 TA using monos too. i would say they are a deffinate one to consider.
