Do you not need a vent hole to help prevent fogging up?

I've given up trying to stop mine misting over

Yes, you will have a better view of the nut with the wheel and lining off. Access should then look like:Going to try and cut the bolt and use a coupler, would it be best to take the wheel off and remove the lining at get to it that way?
Just as long as you can save half an inch or so at the end of the thread it's good enough. Stuff the bad section with washers.
Good luck with it http://www.vx220.org...supgraemlin.gif

https://www.elisepar...cover-adhesive/Elise parts butyl tape What is that. Just checked and lights are now full of water so it must be a problem with the seal. So do people use the oven to remove the lens or just heat gun?

Converted them into LED fog lights using the old casings, and lenses.Don't bin them! If they still work there is value in keeping or at least selling them. Criminal to bin working VX parts like these.
