Evening all,

 

I am based in Milton Keynes and am on the hunt for my first VX. I was lucky enough to be taken out in leevx2.2's VX around 5 years ago and loved it, think it was running around 300bhp then.

 

I have been reading through all the posts on here and the facebook group from new members so will try not to bore you all with the same questions

Good luck and i hope you get one soon...i got mine last summer....Turbo.. I've driven her all thru the winter as well...i can't believe how good it feels every time i drive anywhere...see you soon hopefully..

Welcome Rob. Im also an MK resident, though Wolfstone seems to have totally forgot about me, thats him off the xmas card list. Lol Iv got a silver VX, though my daily is a Nissan Juke. If you want a passenger ride, or just a chat or anything, get in touch. Im regional co-ordinator, and you missed a meet this weekend, but another one will be in the pipe line shortly.

Welcome Rob. I bought mine in September. like a complete dickhead I bought it without driving it or trying to get in it. Was at a local specialist getting my Evora fettled and saw her sitting in the forecourt. Never really thought about a VX before as wanted an Elise. But she just caught my eye, the specialist said the owner was selling and it was a great car (I trust the guy, he has a great rep) and so I said OK, knock £500 off the price and I'll have it. Blow me, the deal was done and the next week i went to pick her up and thought sh*t, how the hell is an old fat b'stard like me going to get in that!  So, I took the roof off, put it in the boot and slid down the side. Simples. Super easy.  So if you ever see a silver VX220 being driven in the rain with no roof, it's likely because the old fat b'stard of an owner can only get in or our of it with the roof off!

 

Never has not piut a smile on my face when behind the wheel. Bloody get stupid little plastic cars!  just do it!  And have loads of fun and smiles.
