An opportunity has arisen to purchase a non-OEM hardtop.

 

The hardtop has brackets attached but the fitting to the car appears to be long-ish cylinders which fit into the car mounting points with a threaded bolt attached at 90 degrees which then attaches to the roof bracket. 

 

It appears a simpler method of attachment than others I have seen

 

Anyone got such a fitting on their hardtop?

So the roof with the attached brackets plus the bolts above all that is required to fit it?  Rubber seals for roof and windows all there too....

Yeah that's right, I believe this is a really early roof from him, mounts have changed over the years.

Iv had one of these on my turbo previously an it not great fit if be honest , it may be earlier one as after they improved more .

Yes it is one of the very first ones that one. We changed the design to match the Elise 3 or 4 years ago.
