Watch the Elise inside story any you *may* think again about welding something that should be bonded.Yes , that is right watch out , and better if take under trays off look up there will be welding instead of red epoxy . I was thinking actually can put epoxy on top of welding to hide it , but no I want everyone to see it how it was repaired . When it's done all members will see it !

to be fair it may not be that bad, a photo will help others to point you in the right direction for the best solution
We have had owners trying to remove the floor pan, which obviously is not the right way to do something
