Looking at fitting some Tullett parts to my itb engine, and noticed that the cat downpipe is suitable for track only. What makes this unsuitable for road, and will it cause MOT issues? Also, was planning on keeping the VSE back box, will swapping the cat for Tullett race cat considerably affect noise? Mat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

its a bit like your VSE saying on it "Track use only"

as its a smaller cat than originally fitted, it covers them :)

Ahh, makes sense. Does the cat make much difference noise wise? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You are going from 400 to 200 cells, and from 2" to 2.5", so I think yes it will affect noise.

I have a 3" 200 cell tullet and i wouldn't call it loud. It's been sound tested at Brands and passed no problem. Not actually been on track yet.

The turbos do tend to run more quietly than the NAs so with a VSE and 200 cell cat you're going to be noisy.
